Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American journalist on television who is currently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street', and Closing Bell'. Although she is an Ohioan, she wasn't interested in currency and markets during her time in college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com as studying at New York University. Her first exposure in the field of business news through this experience. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. Then, she completed a four-month work experience at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After returning to the US in the fall, she was able working at Bloomberg's office in New York. Eventually, she became a anchor for a TV show. In December 2013 she was hired by CNBC as an anchor. Eisen has been a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch', before landing the role on 'Closing Bell' in the year. Eisen has been co-anchoring the show 'Squawk on the Street' since the year 2014. She is one of the most respected business journalists of the present. Since joining CNBC, her primary attention has been on global consumer news.
