Alesha Dixon

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, better known as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter, born on March 3, 1997 in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, but established herself as a solo artist with collaborations such as "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. She left the group in 2016 and released her debut solo single "Crying in the Club". Cabello's debut studio album, "Camila", reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart and received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her lead single "Havana" topped the charts in many countries, including the US and UK, and "Never Be the Same" reached the top ten in many countries. In 2019, her duet with Mendes, "Se orita", became her second single to top the Billboard Hot 100. Her second studio album, "Romance" (2019), topped at number three on the Billboard 200 chart and number one in Canada. Cabello made her acting debut in 2021 in the role of Cinderella. She grew up in East Havana with her father Alejandro Cabello, who is Mexican, and her mother Sinuhe Estrabao. She has a younger sister named Sofia. Cabello moved to Miami, Florida with her mother at the age of six, while her father joined the family 18 months later. She gained American citizenship in 2008 and attended Miami Palmetto High School, but left in the 2012-2013 school year to pursue her singing career. Cabello has a huge fan following on her Instagram account and has been in a relationship with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes since July 2019. She is a philanthropist and has partnered with Save the Children, donated $10,000 to GoFundMe campaigns, and participated in non-profit NGOs working for the welfare of children and poverty-driven communities.
