Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America is an actress and singer. She is an Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is born in Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's passion for acting was discovered at a very young age. Her audition was in 1992 and got a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when she turned 13; she later appeared on television commercials and newspaper ads. As well as taking private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell made an appearance in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. After graduating, Bell relocated in New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. The year 2001 was the time Bell left university to portray the character in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang However, the scene where she appeared was cut. This meant that the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
