Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. Her screen debut came with her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. She speaks fluently French, German and English. Her father was an actor as well as her mother a violinist. Awarded with the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala of Young Actors. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as an European Shooting Star. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 three weeks and 2 days" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months And Two Days) that won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her work. She played Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she was Irma's German Aunt in Fury, which was released in 2014.
